Welsh Corgi Cardigan

The Welsh Corgi Cardigan is a small but robust breed that originates from Wales in England. The name “Cardigan” is a reference to the area of Cardiganshire where the breed was first bred back in the 12th century.

The breed is known for their distinctive appearance with their long but muscular body, short legs and lively expression. The body is covered with a soft, medium-length double coat consisting of a thick undercoat and water-repellent topcoat. The coat is self-cleaning and easy to maintain.
The breed sheds quite a lot a few times a year. The tail is usually long and bushy and the ears are standing straight up.

Welsh Corgi Cardigans are happy, loving and loyal. They are often very devoted to their owners and are excellent family dogs for the active family. One of their qualities is their kindness and patience towards children.
They are known to have high energy levels and they require regular exercise and activity to keep them happy and healthy. The Corgi Cardigan is also known to be good at learning tricks and commands as they are intelligent and eager to learn new things.

The Welsh Corgi Cardigan is a versatile breed that can be used as a companion dog and a working dog. They are known to be good herding dogs and they have a natural instinct to drive animals.
