Pizzi & Luna
CardiStar's first litter was born on July 8, 2021.
Mother was Luna (Blondie's Blue Zucker) and father was Pizzi (Of Fire, Wind and Wisdom D'Alma Castrense).
Pizzi was bred in Portugal where he also lives. Therefore, Luna was inseminated with chilled semen that was sent from Portugal.
It was a large litter of 11 puppies that were born by cesarean section. 6 females and 5 males.
3 Blue Merles and 8 black/white/brindlepointed. In this litter, 3 of the puppies were fluff.

Luna was already a good mother when she woke up from the anesthesia. She took care of the puppies right away and it came naturally to her to wash and care for them. She recovered quickly from her cesarean section.
Due to the large number of puppies in the litter, we chose to supplement with goat milk for the first 3 weeks. It was hard work and many sleepless nights, but fortunately it was all worth it!
All puppies grew and gained weight well from the start and developed as we wanted.
It is a big task to have such a large litter. We were busy with socialization and environmental training. The puppies visited the 3rd grade class at Bogense school and went to the beach several times.
They tried driving in the car and were trained with fireworks from the age of 5 weeks.
All puppies were brave, curious and happy when they left home.
We chose not to keep a puppy from this litter.
