CardiStar's C litter 2024
Jai Jai & Cassie
CardiStar's C litter was born on October 28, 2024.
Mother was Cassie (Cassiopeia D'Alma Castrense) and father was Jai Jai (Redbud Across the Universe).
Jai Jai was born and lives in the USA. Therefore, this litter was created with frozen semen sent from the USA.
The joy was great when we were able to scan Cassie and confirm the pregnancy and even greater when we later saw on the X-ray that she was carrying 4 puppies.
The litter consisted of 3 males and 1 female - all black/white/brindlepointed. Unfortunately, we lost 3 puppies during birth and we therefore only had one alive puppy.

This litter was Cassie's second litter.
A very special litter for me. A litter that I had dreamed about for several years!
After a long, troublesome and not least expensive process, I finally managed to get frozen semen home from Jai Jai. As the first breeder in Europe, I used Jai Jai and had high hopes and dreams for this litter.
After Cassie was inseminated, the excitement was almost unbearable!
After 25 days we were finally able to scan her and confirm that there were at least 3 puppies. The joy was great and even greater when a week before the due date, we could see on the x-ray that the belly was hiding 4 puppies.
Everything went according to plan but unfortunately the birth never really got started. We decided to do a caesarean section but unfortunately 3 out of 4 puppies could not be saved. This is the first time we have lost puppies and it was completely unbearable. So unfair that the beautiful puppies never got to meet their mother.
Luckily we got a nice and strong male puppy home and he was named Solo. This is the first time we tried to have a singleton puppy.
It has been a special experience and we became extra attached to the puppy.
We decided to keep the puppy and we named him Solo.
Solo has always been very brave and curious and is just something very special to all of us in the family. We are very excited to follow him!
