ABOUT US

Welcome to
Kennel CardiStar's!
My name is Stephanie Meyer Kromann and I am the owner of Kennel CardiStar's.
My passion for dogs started in childhood, growing up with both Rottweilers and Bernese Mountain Dogs. My first dog as an adult was the Shih Tzu Futte, followed by the Chihuahua Freja – but it is the Welsh Corgi Cardigan that has truly stolen my heart. It is this breed that I now dedicate my time and commitment to.
I live on beautiful North Funen with my husband Brian and our extended family of four children.
Our first Welsh Corgi Cardigan moved in in 2019, and since then the flock has expanded several times.
I completed the Danish Kennel Club's breeder training in 2020, and in July 2021 our first litter – CardiStar's A-litter – was born.
At Kennel CardiStar's I breed with my heart, and always in accordance with the Danish Kennel Club's and the Welsh Corgi Club's breeding restrictions and recommendations.
My goal is to breed healthy, breed-typical and mentally strong dogs and ensure the future of the breed.
A natural part of the family
For us, dogs are not just dogs – they are a part of the family and our everyday lives. We go for daily walks in the nature, and I believe that a good dog life consists of love, positive learning and meaningful activation of both body and mind.
Exhibition and puppies
The dogs and I participate in many shows, both in Denmark and abroad. We have exhibited in Sweden, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia, among others.
When it fits into our bitch's life and show plans, we typically have 1–2 litters of puppies per year. All puppies are raised in our home and given a loving and safe start to life.
If you have any questions or would like to know more about us and our dogs, you are always welcome to contact me.
