Kennel CardiStar's!
My name is Stephanie Meyer Kromann and I am the owner of Kennel CardiStar's.
My passion for dogs started in childhood, growing up with Rottweilers and Bernese Mountain Dogs. My own first dog was the Shih Tzu "Futte" and later the Chihuahua "Freja". However, it is the Welsh Corgi Cardigans that have now completely stolen my heart and that I have chosen to spend all my time and energy on.
I am married to Brian and we have 4 children together.
We got our first Welsh Corgi Cardigan in 2019 and have since expanded the flock several times.
I took the breeder-education at the Danish Kennel Club in 2020 - and in July 2021 CardiStar's A-litter saw the light of day.
I breed according to the Danish Kennel Club and Welsh Corgi Club's breeding restrictions and breeding recommendations. In addition, my dogs gets xrays of hips and elbows to exclude dysplasia. The dogs are also DNA tested for the disease Degenerative Myelopathy (DM).
We want our dogs to be high quality and to be healthy in both body and mind. Therefore, they are also a completely natural part of our family and daily life. The dogs are on daily walks out of the house where we enjoy the nature on North Fyn, where we live. I believe that a healthy and happy doglife contains lots of love, positive learning and good activation of body and mind.
The dogs and I participate in most exhibitions in Denmark and also exhibit abroad - including Sweden, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.
If it fits into our dogs life and show-career, we will typically have one or two litters of puppies per year.
